1. Location Data
Types of Location Data Collected
- Precise location (GPS): We collect precise GPS data only when you perform
attendance actions (Check In / Check Out) to verify your physical presence at the designated
work location.
- Approximate location (network): We may collect approximate network-based
location to validate your general area for attendance accuracy.
- Background location: Not used. HR Portal does not access or track your location
in the background. Location is accessed only when the app is open and the attendance feature is
in use.
Purpose of Collection
- To provide and operate the app’s core functionality (attendance based on location).
- To ensure accuracy and prevent misuse or location spoofing during attendance.
- To analyze app usage for improving performance and reliability.
- For security and fraud prevention purposes.
When Location Is Collected
- Only when you have granted location permission on your device and are actively using a
location-based feature (e.g., attendance check-in/out).
- HR Portal does not collect or store your location data continuously or in the background.
Sharing / Disclosure
HR Portal does not sell, rent, or trade your location data to third parties. We may share limited
location data only in the following cases:
- With service providers that help us operate app features (e.g., Google Maps API for validating
location).
- When required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Data Retention
- Location data is retained for up to 30 days for attendance verification and
audit purposes.
- After this period, it is automatically deleted or anonymized.
- You may request early deletion of your location data by contacting us (see “Contact Us”).

- Encryption during transmission.
- Restricted internal access to authorized personnel only.
- Continuous monitoring for unauthorized access or misuse.
User Rights and Controls
- You can disable or revoke location access at any time through your device settings (Settings →
App Permissions → Location).
- If you deny location permission, some app features such as attendance may not function properly.

2. Log Files
HR Portal follows standard log file procedures. These logs may include your IP address, browser
type, ISP, date/time stamp,
and pages visited. This data is used for internal analysis, security monitoring, and service
maintenance.

Like most websites, HR Portal uses cookies to store user preferences and enhance user experience.
You may disable cookies through your browser settings if you prefer.
4. Children’s Information
Protecting children’s privacy is a priority. HR Portal does not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13 years of age.
If you believe your child has provided such information, please contact us immediately and we will
promptly remove it.
5. Online Privacy Policy Only
This Privacy Policy applies only to online and in-app activities of HR Portal.
